Fiduciary Exchange LLC (“FIDx”) and its affiliates, (hereinafter collectively known as FIDx) understand the value you place on maintaining your privacy. That’s why we limit access to customer information to individuals in our organization who need it in order to perform their jobs. Employees who have access to customer information are required to safeguard personal information and keep it confidential.
Security standards
We safeguard customer information in accordance with established security procedures. We have implemented physical and electronic safeguards to help protect private information from being intercepted over the Internet. We make extensive use of transmission encryption, firewall barriers and authentication procedures to maintain the security of your online session and to protect FIDx systems from unauthorized access.
Collecting information to serve you
FIDx collects information about you to help us provide better customer service, offer new products or services, and fulfill legal and regulatory requirements. The type of information that we collect varies according to the products or services you request, and may include:
Personal information – is any information that can be used to identify a specific individual such as your name, email address, home address, phone number, any additional information that you may post on the website as submissions. We collect personal information from you explicitly, and only when you voluntarily provide it to us or in instances in which you must provide such information in order to participate in activities on the website. Sharing information
FIDx does not sell personally identifiable information about current or former clients to third parties. We may share customer information with FIDx affiliates in order to properly service you. In compliance with federal and state laws, we may disclose information we collect about our customers and former customers, as described above, to nonaffiliated businesses such as:
Companies that perform services for us or on your behalf; Companies that participate in joint marketing activities with us; and Companies participating with us in a proposed business exchange. We may also disclose information to non-affiliated parties as allowed by law, such as in responding to a subpoena, preventing fraud, or complying with an inquiry by a government agency or regulator.
In addition, we may develop, use, distribute and publish information and statistics derived from your data and the content that you contribute for use on a masked, aggregate basis. This particular use of your data and content will not result in the distribution or publication of any personally identifiable information.
International customers
FIDx services are hosted in the United States. If you are an international consumer, note that by providing your personal information, you are: (i) permitting the transfer of your personal information to the United States which may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you reside; and (ii) permitting the use of your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy
Privacy policy changes
If we make changes to any of the terms or conditions of the privacy policy, this document will be revised so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and to whom we will disclose it. We reserve the right to revise, modify, add, amend or remove (“change”) portions of this policy at any time so long as we notify you of a change by posting notice of a change on the website. In such case, any such changes will become effective immediately upon such notice unless we advise you otherwise. Your continued use of the website and the services offered on the website after this policy has been changed shall be deemed to be your continued acceptance of the terms and conditions of the policy, as changed.
