Client Engagement Associate

About the Opportunity:

The Client Engagement Associate will be responsible for fostering and developing relationships with FIDx clients, continually increasing their satisfaction with Insurance Exchange (iX) and enabling them to grow and streamline their business utilizing our platform. The successful candidate must understand clients' needs, provide exceptional support and guidance, and act as their trusted advocate and business partner. This role requires a basic understanding of the features, functionality, and integration points of the iX platform, excellent communication skills, positive attitude, willingness to learn and be accountable for deliverables, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients to establish and nurture strong relationships based on trust and mutual success.
  • Understand and document clients’ business needs and challenges to develop action plans to address requirements and to remove barriers to progress.
  • Meet with clients on a regular basis to proactively address issues and concerns, provide product updates, and gather feedback on platform capabilities and workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and iX Platform Support, to deliver comprehensive, white-glove client service.
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on product features, functionality, and best practices to drive successful adoption of Insurance Exchange.
  • Execute tasks and manage projects as directed by Client Engagement Senior Associates and Managers.
  • Escalate issues to the larger Client Engagement Team as required.

Client Advocacy:

  • Meet with clients regularly to understand their evolving strategic plans, business needs and processes, and implementation architecture to drive increased system usage and to provide context for product enhancement requests.
  • Meet with clients regularly to review issues and concerns. Actively track and manage issues and enhancement request lists, define and execute action plans to resolve issues, and provide summary level reporting to clients and internal stakeholders on a periodic basis.
  • Execute issue triage, liaising with internal teams as required, to identify root cause of reported issues. Define and execute action steps required to resolve issue. Report issue status and, ultimately, issue resolution to client per agreed upon timeframe.
  • Maintain comprehensive repository of client related documentation. Artifacts include but are not limited to: Business Requirements Documents, Statements of Work, transition documents, workflow diagrams, integration diagrams, issues lists, and enhancement request lists.
  • Act as a client advocate, ensuring that the client's perspective is always taken into consideration during decision-making processes.
  • Proactively gather client feedback and testimonials, leveraging them to promote our success stories and demonstrate the value of client advocacy.

Platform and Industry Expertise:

  • Develop and maintain a foundational understanding of Insurance Exchange capabilities and integration points.
  • Demonstrate Insurance Exchange basic workflows, features, and functionality and articulate product value to clients within the context of their business.
  • Share knowledge and insights with the Client Engagement team and with the larger FIDx organization, contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and services.
  • Attend industry conferences, events, and networking forums to enhance professional growth and stay connected with key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Up to 1 year experience in a client-facing role within the fintech industry, such as client success, account management, or customer relationship management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with clients at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving client success.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex client requirements and deliver solutions to business problems.

Implementation Manager

About the Opportunity:

The Implementations Manager will be responsible for driving and managing all phases of a Broker Dealer and/or Registered Investment Advisor’s implementation of the Insurance Exchange (iX) platform. Project phases include: business discovery, solution design, annuity program set up, development & configuration, annuity product set up, workflow and integration testing, and post-launch support. You will likely be managing multiple implementations at any given time and must be able to simultaneously track, manage and direct multiple sets of internal and external workstreams.  The Implementations Manager is a qualified leader with demonstrated experience in project management, business process analysis, system data flows and business architecture. You must be highly organized and have the ability to lead across teams, manage client expectations, drive and prioritize deliverables across multiple projects with evolving client requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of the features, functionality, and integration points of the iX platform, excellent communication skills, positive attitude, accountability for delivery, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Participate in due diligence sessions with on-boarding clients to understand the firms’ strategic business plans and annuity program goals and objectives.
  • Understand the client’s technology environment, business architecture, 3rd party providers and operational workflows.
  • Lead discussions relevant to design and configuration of the Insurance Exchange platform. Ensure client understands and is able to support platform set up and integration requirements.
  • Ensure implementation projects are adequately resourced by the client and by 3rd party system providers.
  • Cooperatively manage project scope with the client and invoke change management processes where necessary to keep implementation projects on schedule.
  • Escalate issues with the client as appropriate, clearly communicating project dependencies, risks and implications.
  • Accept and track implementation related client feedback and incorporate requests in standard process where appropriate

Project Execution

  • Design the client’s Insurance Exchange platform implementation, including annuity workflows, operational processes, integration points, data flows, and system functionality
  • Document the definition of services, out of scope items, items not required for annuity program launch (e.g., Day 2 items), and communicate to the client and internal stakeholders
  • Create and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) for client implementations, as necessary. Work with client’s Strategic Relationship Manager to address and resolve economic issues.
  • Define conversion approach and develop implementation plan highlighting key milestones, dependencies, and project schedule
  • Manage on-boarding activities to the implementation plan for the duration of each project. Ensure deliverables are met by published timelines. Evolve plan as necessary by executing change management processes.
  • Work collaboratively with partner firms, e.g., Envestnet, iCapital, Account Order Entry (AOE) providers, and ensure that they meet project deliverables
  • Organize, plan and conduct project related meetings. Lead status meetings with senior and executive management at regular cadence, highlighting project progress, roadblocks, and required escalations.
  • Coordinate with Technology team to provide an environment for internal and external User Acceptance testing on accordance with project timelines.

Team Leadership

  • Work closely with Practice Management, Product, and Technology teams to ensure Implementation team alignment with strategic goals and key business decisions regarding products, services, and key business initiatives
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback to Implementation Associates and Senior Associates to foster their professional development.
  • Manage and guide the efforts of Business Integration Testing Associates to ensure testing efforts are properly aligned with client expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share approaches, develop implementation best practices, and improve team capabilities to successfully onboard clients
  • Work with internal and external business teams to assess and streamline processes to mitigate risk, cost, or issues and generate efficiencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in investment operations, project management, client implementation and/or business analysis. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Investment Management Operations processes, broker dealer / RIA technology and procedures, and an ability and willingness to learn quickly
  • Solid understanding of financial products, services, and industry trends. Experience with annuity products and advisor tool sets a plus.
  • Experience implementing technology at broker-dealers and/or RIAs preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate with clients at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, process analysis, and problem-solving skills. Interest in relevance of detail underlying analysis is a must.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable facilitating project working groups and ability to navigate and synthesize complex client requirements
  • Experience with designing new solutions by gathering and analyzing requirements, assessing system capabilities, and writing business and technology specifications
